Sleepyhead

Cash slept from midnight until 5am last night. I woke up at 3:00 and asked Chandler if i should wake him. He said, "He'll wake up when he needs something." Does that mean he already doesn't need me?? Regardless, I'm thankful for his sleep - it gives him a chance to grow big and strong.

The Cash-man Groweth

Somehow my little tiny baby has gotten bigger. Last night as I was putting him to sleep I realized that he has all but outgrown his "baby box". I had to lay him down diagonally just so his feet wouldn't hang over the end. This made me very sad and also made me realize that this is probably only one of many sad moments to come. I think the growing thing really freaked me out because in his first 4 hour sleep stretch I had a terrible dream that I got up to feed him and we were sitting in his glider as we always do for our 1am feeding. I looked down and my baby was a giant! Not a full grown adult but a huge baby, like Bob's Big Boy - so large that i could barely hold him. Of course that woke me right up. As if that wasn't enough I had another dream on our second stretch of sleep that i removed the "baby box" he has outgrown and he rolled over and fell through the rungs right out of the basinett onto the floor (with a thud no doubt). I guess I am in for a long ride full of disturbing dreams!

Baby Blogger

A 6 week old can't provide as much blogging entertainment as an 18 month old (with Wiley's personality) but i thought i would give it a shot. Heck, it gives me something to do while i'm at home by myself.
