13 months (a little early)

Cash is walking and talking like crazy right now. He spent the entire Superbowl walking around Uncle Rob's house talking in his own little language. He is also making the funniest, dirty faces ever. He scrunches up his face and furrows his brow. Sometimes he even rolls his eyes at you. I can only laugh at this because i know he doesn't know what he's doing - or maybe he does!!?
He had a very exciting weekend with Grammy and Pop and Larry and Louise - i'm exhausted. He is always so well behaved. He has had some trouble going to sleep lately - probably because he would rather be walking around babbling. Once he gets into his bed he falls asleep within a few minutes. I hate that he has to cry before he goes to sleep but i never have to let him cry for long.
He is now into using a fork/spoon to feed himself. Usually this results in more food on the floor (and ultimately in the dogs mouth) than in Cash's tummy so i still have to watch him and help him out but he insists on feeding himself.
Cash is still into saying "uh oh" when he drops or throws things but now he is onto a "daddy" and "dadda" kick. For minutes at a time he will just repeat "dadda" over and over. I thought he was just saying it but now i know he really knows what it means because if Chandler walks through the room Cash smiles and the rate at which the "dadda's" are coming out of his mouth increases - and not to mention he throws his hands in the air asking Chandler to pick him up. I think he says Slider sometimes but we'll need a few more tests before i can confirm that. He can also "roar" like a lion when we read the book about the yellow lion.
His favorite toys are the rock/roll horse, the old laptop that Chandler gave him, the learn/sing table, the baseball T & bat and any & all building blocks. He could sit and play with the blocks for hours. he likes when I build towers so he can knock them down. he like to put the pieces together and then take them apart. He loves to throw the blocks into the wagon. He loves his blocks.
He continues to smile and laugh a lot. He is a great baby - err, i mean boy!
